Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann campaigned for AAP candidates in Jalandhar, appealed to people to form an honest government
Jalandhar/Chandigarh, February 16, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal and AAP’s Punjab chief ministerial candidate Bhagwant Mann reached Jalandhar on Wednesday. The two leaders first paid obeisance at the famous Sant Sri Ravidas temple. Then they campaigned in favour of AAP candidates in various assembly constituencies of Jalandhar.
During election campaign in Jalandhar, Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann appealed people to vote for AAP candidate Sheetal Angural from Jalandhar West assembly constituency, Surinder Singh Sodhi, candidate from Jalandhar Cantt and former international player, Raman Arora from Jalndhar Central and Dinesh Dhal, AAP candidate from Jalandhar North. AAP leaders asked people to elect AAP candidates to form an honest government in Punjab in the leadership of Bhagwant Mann.
Appealing to the people, Kejriwal said that this time vote to change Punjab. If you want corruption, mafia and bureaucracy to end, then form the government of Aam Aadmi Party. Kejriwal said that the future of Punjab and the people of Punjab will be decided on February 20th, so this time you have to vote very carefully. Not a single vote is to be wasted; every single precious vote has to be cast to the Aam Aadmi Party.
Kejriwal said that earlier the people of Punjab did not have a good and honest option. This time we have a very honest leader Bhagwant Mann as the chief ministerial candidate for the bright future of Punjab. This time we don’t want to be deceived. Only honest chose honest leader and Punjab will be prosperous. Appealing to the people, Kejriwal said that all media surveys are showing that Aam Aadmi Party is forming in Punjab. But they are showing only 60-65 seats. To strengthen the hands of Bhagwant Mann, the Aam Aadmi Party has to win more than 80 seats.
Addressing the people, AAP’s Punjab Chief Minister candidate Bhagwant Mann said that on February 20th, you have a chance to change the fortunes of your children and Punjab, to improve the education and medical system, to end mafia and corruption, to solve the problem of electricity and water, to provide employment to the youth and to save the farmers from debt. So this time press the button of ‘Jharoo’ for the good future of yourself, your children and Punjab. You support us till February 20th, after that we will support you in every happiness and sorrow.
Appealing to vote for AAP candidate and former international player Surinder Singh Sodhi in Jalandhar Cantt constituency, Mann told the people that the land of Jalandhar has given many big players to the country. All the great players raised the pride of Punjab and the country due to the talent of their sports and honoured the tricolour abroad. AAP candidate Surinder Singh Sodhi also played for the country for a long time and made Punjab and the country proud by winning many medals. Elect Mr. Sodhi with a huge margin and send him to the assembly. I am sure that the way he has brought honour to the country as a sportsperson, in the same way he will represent the people of Jalandhar in the assembly.
